Administrative Positions

 

Spokane International Academy is seeking dynamic and accomplished educators to assume positions as administrators. SIA administrators fill a variety of roles that support staff and students in their goal to become leaders equipped with the skills our community needs in the future by challenging them academically and in the development of their character. Teaching Positions

 

Spokane International Academy is seeking dynamic and accomplished educators to assume positions as teachers. SIA teachers exhibit five specific attributes that make them able to educate our students in a way that inspires them to become leaders equipped with the skills our community needs in the future by challenging them academically and in the development of their character. SIA is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School candidate. All candidates interested in teaching at SIA would need to be willing to commit to the IB philosophy of education and the professional development and planning that accompanies this approach.

Those interested in the Middle Academy should scan the MYP: From Principles into Practice document IB Content Guide that correlates with the position you are interested in: PE, English Lit., Math, Science, Individuals and Societies, Spanish.

SIA's teacher salary schedule can be found HERE. Our salary schedule was built using OSPI's model salary schedule released in spring of 2018 and based on the McCleary funding decision.

Instructional Assistant

 

Spokane International Academy is seeking Instructional Assistants who will work closely with teachers in the classroom, provide supervision of students throughout the day and serve and facilitate learning opportunities in small groups or one on one with students. SIA Instructional Assistants need to exhibit attributes that allow them to educate our students in a way that inspires them to become leaders equipped with the skills our community needs in the future by challenging them academically and in the development of their character.

 

Instructional Assistants who work at SIA must also have a desire to become a classroom teacher in the future. Please see the following documents that detail this expectation and what steps can be taken to become a classroom teacher.

Substitute Teachers

 

Spokane International Academy is seeking dynamic substitute teachers to guest teach in the absence of our contracted teachers. SIA teachers exhibit five specific attributes that make them able to educate our students in a way that inspires them to become leaders equipped with the skills our community needs in the future by challenging them academically and in the development of their character.

Operations Team Positions

 

Spokane International Academy is seeking dynamic individuals to join our operations team. The operations team at SIA is responsible for all of the nutrition, facilities, business and day-to-day operations involved with a smoothly running school.
